MAGIC TRICKS AND CONJURING

Harry Houdini, Faquir Kirman, Harry Potter and Merlin the Wizard come from very different schools of magic. However, all of them have the necessary skills to make us believe that the impossible is possible.

In this section dedicated to mystery, visitors can discover some of the magical instruments used by great professionals such as the wizard Zaracla or the magician Màgic Andreu, along with the sleights of hand used by the poet Joan Brossa to trick his friends. In terms of amateur children’s magic, visitors can examine the practice sets produced by Joguines Borràs, Plaubert, Tenkis and El Rei de la Màgia.

Among the most interesting objects in this section is the double-bottomed glass from 1840 which once belonged to the well-known Catalan magician Fructuós Canonge.
